digital transformation due to COVID-19
Hello friends, Welcome to our blog in this article. I am going to tell you about digital transformation & phase change of life due to COVID-19 read this article till the end.
As We Know It is a very critical situation around the world due to COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic gives us a chance to reevaluate the worth of two major initiatives of the government:
  • demonetization
  • digitization.
Today, most bill payments have moved online and barring older people, who may prefer to pay their electricity bills at physical counters, digitization is delivering in spades.

But digitization is not just about payments and financial transactions. Consider what all will happen as the current lockdown persists across the country.

Judiciary:-
Courts are beginning to use video-conferencing to conduct hearings.
When the entire case is recorded, the possibility of judges unfairly conducting trials gets substantially reduced.
At some point, a judicial appointments commission will have video records of all judges shortlisted for promotions.

Healthcare sector
  • Remote patient examinations, analysis of symptoms with the help of databases and algorithms, and even the basic task of taking down a new patient’s medical history can all be done remotely through a digital app or interface.
  • India may be spending too much on training doctors at a cost of millions of rupees per head when a lot of that money could have been spent on technology to deliver competent and lower-cost healthcare.
  • We should recognize the importance of going digital.
  • It should make us think of how to convert the COVID-19 disruption into an agenda that brings us up to technological speed in various spheres of human activity.

A lot of upskilling has to happen for a company to digitally transform, But in tough times like these, training budgets get cut first. So how do companies meet this challenge?

We don’t have a training budget. At least we don’t put it in a bucket called training. We basically put it in the development bucket. What was change management? The origin came from training. A group of people said a process has ten steps, now let us cut it down to five steps and write down a training manual for the organization to run a change management program.
Today, the work we are doing is too quick and rapid to go the old way of training. Our model is more like “Players and coaches”. You identify the raw skills and capabilities people have and the gap they have and match it with the capabilities we have. So we co-create with our clients.
For example, if Client A has 10 people, we find out which of our people fit those skills and together they become part of a transformation team. They have real work to do.
Transformation is not something you can do for somebody. You have to do it with somebody.
